| The manganese deposits in southeast Fujian and the eastern Guangdong, which occurred principally in the Variscan and Indo-China fracture depression zone, had undergone the evolution of primary Mn-bearing sedimentary source bed (protore)………………→hydrothermal superimposed Mn ores (or Fe and Mn-bearing polymetallic ores)……………→epithermal and superficial oxidized ores The latter is the main economic concentrations.It is suggested that Mn-bearing source bed, the fracture structure, intrusive contacts and mineral association might be aggregatively regarded as the guidance for prospecting |
