| The range, petrographic variation and paleogeographic zoning of the two early Proterozoic ferruginous sea basins in Northern Shanxi Province have been reconstructed with the emphasis on the ore-bearing stratigraphic horizons, petrographic association, primary rock formation types and iron ore facies, based on the study on Precambrian egional geology and iron ore deposit geology for the banded iron-formationtype iron ore deposits.Whereas the correlation of this kind of iron ore deposits and iron ore facies with the petrography-paleogeographic environment has been determined. |
